This coming Monday, April 8th we have the chance to experience a
Total Solar Eclipse. What makes this eclipse different?
The path of totality is much wider because the moon is closer to the earth. Totality will also last longer – up to 4 minutes, 28 seconds depending on your location. The Sun will be in or near solar maximum, so streamers will likely be visible throughout the corona. Viewers will have a better chance to see prominences – which look like bright, pink curls or loops coming off the Sun.¹
The next total solar eclipse that can be seen from the contiguous United States isn't for another 20 years on Aug. 23, 2044.²
Visit this website to see if you are in the Path of Totality.
We hope you are able to experience this AMAZING event!
